IFS Sessions

I offer 60-minute, virtual, one-on-one therapy sessions.

I generally work with folks on a weekly or bi-weekly basis.

In these sessions, we’ll connect with different parts of you, and learn about their desires and limits, burdens and gifts. We’ll experience you as an internal secure attachment figure, available as an ample resource for all the parts of you.

My rate is $250 per 60-minute session.

I currently have openings for new clients throughout New York State.

For folks in New York, I can provide superbills for out-of-network insurance reimbursement. I work under the supervision of Dr. Daria Chase.

I also reserve a number of spots for sliding scale sessions. If you’re interested in working together, but cost would be a barrier, feel free to schedule an introductory call and we can talk it through together.

I begin the therapy relationship with a free 25 minute introductory Zoom call. In this call, we’ll talk about what you’re looking for, how I work, and anything else you’d like to talk through about the IFS process. And we’ll get a feel for whether the relationship between us feels like a good fit.

I specialize in:

  • IFS for relationships and attachment: Develop internal secure attachment, and steady, secure, and pleasurable relationships with others

  • IFS with experienced meditators

  • IFS and desire: Listen inside to what you actually want and enjoy, who you are, and how to live from inner leadership

We may be a good fit to work together if you:

  • Experienced childhood trauma

  • Experienced neglect as a child

  • Would describe your parent(s) or caregivers as emotionally immature

  • Often feel like the one seeing and telling the truth in groups — and then feel like the odd one out for it

  • Experienced a lot of alone-ness as a kid

  • Had a lot of adult responsibilities as a child

  • Often feel highly responsible — and anxious about it

  • Have a hard time making decisions, or feel anxious about decisions

  • Have a hard time saying no and setting boundaries, and then often feel guilty or mean when you do

  • Want support with your relationships

  • Want to trust yourself more

  • Want to ground in your own power and leadership

  • Want more pleasure, enjoyment, and ease in your life

  • Want a therapist who understands your meditation practice

  • Have experienced challenges in your meditation practice, and you want support from someone who understands both meditation and psychology

  • Want to create, and to express yourself more fully — but it’s scary sometimes!

  • Have been in talk therapy before, and feel like you understand yourself and your past better, but haven’t experienced the change you want yet
